Need Help Choosing the Right Agent?
- Have the agent do the driving and ask them for listing printouts of the homes on your tour.
- Check to see if they will provide pictures of the homes' exteriors. This will help with your memory.
- Remember, picture pages on my website are printable to help with your selection.
- Bring an area map with you during the tours and let the agent help you place the homes on the map.
- Make sure the agent is familiar with the area in which you wish to buy your home. Ask questions about schools, shopping and recreational activities.
- If things are not going according to plan, discuss and try to solve the situation with them. If you can't, find another agent.
- Find out if the agency or agent belongs to the Multiple Listing Service.
- Take your time, make your offer, and say no if you do not feel comfortable.
